In today’s difficult business environment, companies are learning to focus more and more on the three “P’s”: individual productivity, application productivity and IT productivity. In order to make this easier than ever, Siemens IT Solutions and Services is now offering its worldwide PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) tool set, Teamcenter, as a cloud-based solution.
“Dynamic PLM Service”, as it is called, provides a bundled suite of industry specific PLM applications based on Siemens Teamcenter as well as both hosting and operation of the necessary IT infrastructure along with all supporting services.
The solution is aimed at mid-sized industrial companies with demand for a mature PLM solution, but anxious to risk a lengthy on-premise implementation with the all usual costs and perils. Dynamic PLM Service will be offered instead for a single user-based price and billed monthly. The contract can be terminated within one month if so desired.
Dynamic PLM Service is designed to enable individuals to do more work in less time by providing users with the product and process knowledge they need to succeed in their business. By providing access to PLM by the web-browser on demand, without the need to care about infrastructure and capacities, Dynamic PLM Services extends access to product data to a broad base of both technical and business users.
